Indulge in innovative Japanese cuisine at this Seattle restaurant

Sugo Hand Roll Bar has a new happy hour menu with items starting at just $4. #k5evening

SEATTLE — Sugo Hand Roll Bar is the first-of-it's-kind restaurant in Seattle.

As the name suggests, the restaurant specializes in hand rolls. What is a hand roll you ask? Think of it as the street food version of sushi. The fish and fillings are wrapped into a cone or taco shape that you eat with your hand. No chopsticks needed!

The restaurant, which is located in downtown Seattle just steps away from Pike Place Market, serves other Japanese cuisine like tempura fish, Karaage chicken and miso soup. You'll also find creative craft cocktails made with sake and other Japanese spirits.

Sugo recently introduced a new happy hour menu featuring hand rolls, small bites and specialty items like the seared salmon bowl. It's the perfect way to top off a day at the office or Christmas shopping. And the best part is prices start at just $4.

One of the best happy hour deals is the Wagyu Katsu Sando. The dish is on the dinner menu as well, but it's regularly $45. During happy hour, you can get it for just $25. The happy hour runs daily between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
